I’ve been meaning to make these scones from Smitten Kitchen for weeks (I bought and ate the apples several times over). Finally in midst of a busy morning I decided it was the right time. In hind sight it probably wasn’t the best time, but they were well worth it. I’m a terrible cook but I can bake. It was so nice to bake something that was more savory than sweet. I think I need to try that more often.
