I have always had these “red shamrocks” as well. I have some that have lived for 9 years now!! And I should add, I too am terrible with plants. You should be just fine. They like light!
I love this plant! I had mine for some years, but I think it is finally starting to die off. I really want another one now. Yours looks so healthy! They are pretty easy to take care of! And, so pretty!
My boyfriends mom has one of these in the guestroom I stay in when I go to their house! The thing is like taking over the nightstand. I’ve always wondered what it is but I’m too proud to ask her cause she thinks I’m mildly domestic (I tricked her). You’ve answered my question! It’s a miracle.

My Mom has one and oh how I love their slender sloping stems, and how they close up their leaves in the evening.
these guys are like weeds. they will survive. just needs a lil sun, moisture. you are good to go!
