MY SECOND WEDDING DRESS

A year or so after the first one, I bought this dress at a vintage fair in NYC right after Andy and I set our wedding date. I wasn’t sure what I would do with it, but I felt like I couldn’t pass up such pretty lace at such a good price. I eventually found the perfect dress elsewhere and had always planned to do something with this one but never did. It’s quite difficult to photograph and it’s in great condition. The shape feels kind of 20s to me, but I have no idea how old it is. My friend came with me and we found her amazing dress there too. We also shared a dressing room with Angie Harmon when we were trying stuff on. Crazy!

(I keep planning to sell this dress. If you are interested, please email me at erin (at) birdandbanner (dot) com.).

i couldn’t pass this post up – i came here via your husband’s post about the sweet bloomers but was struck by this post because the dress above is so similar to my wedding dress, which I designed. i hope you find a good home for it.

    That’s hilarious!
I was literally just going to say how beautiful this is and how much it reminds me of my Boss’ wedding dress-but I see that she left a comment already. Small world!
Anyway, lovely dress and I hope it goes to a very good home.
