   I haven’t seen this movie yet, but those screengrabs remind me a lot of All That Heaven Allows by Douglas Sirk. The colours, costuming, etc.

   That movie is on my list! Todd Haynes, the director of Far From Heaven, did this movie in the style of Douglas Sirk.

   I love movies that use saturated colors to convey an emotion or as a way to give visual cues about the character’s personality. They are so beautiful to watch.
