NICOLE’S PICKS
Last week, while attending an amazing reading by my husband at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, I had the chance to check out their awesome book store.
I love children’s books, and they have one of the best children’s book sections ever! Here are a few books we brought home with us.
Big Fish
Far far away on the sea, there once was a small island of fisherman.

A Book of Lines
A coloring book with no lines just color.

All By Myself
Once there was a littte girl named Alison, who could do many things all by herself.

Big Fish reminds me of Edward Gorey. Love it.
oh! great! all of them!
so great! i think my little fish may need big fish.
Love them all! I’d already bookmarked the big fish one, the illustrations are great, however never seen the corriani. Nice idea!
if i wasn’t already trying to unload our collection of books before we move to california, i would definitely look into these! i loved them!
Wonderful books!
Glad I found your blog
Too many books! all great, thanks again.
The big fish illustrations remind me very much of the illustrations in a classic from my childhood, Never tease a weasel.
